The world is transforming into a massively complex globe. Work is gradually being transferred to the machines so mankind is expected to come up with revolutionary ideas higher than what artificial intelligence can be capable of.
No matter what we are in our lives, the 21st century allows each one of us to be a leader. Leadership is a quality that has always allowed revolutions to take place. Now times have changed, the world is revolutionizing at a pace like never before. This is the gift of powerful leaders who have mastered the 21st century skills. The need for leaders is vital now because ordinary people would learn the skills and work for survival but a leader would build people up in the process of growing themselves.

Huge numbers of structured and repeatable tasks are expected to become automated by 2024. Apart from this, even HR Manager’s work was done through robotic assessment in Axis Bank to hire 2000 customer service officers. Robotic waiters are serving food now at Be@Kiwizo, Kerala. LinkedIn reports have shown that seven out of ten emerging jobs demand knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. But only 1-2% of India’s workforce in tech can suffice that.

These facts can frighten ordinary people but not a leader. There was never a night or a problem that could defeat sunrise or hope. We must not forget that machines cannot think; it is humans who can think. Only a leader can think strategically and come up with creative solutions. Robots might have a lot of memory but no creativity. Human leaders need to be highly creative to outperform artificial intelligence. A true leader knows that before anything else, preparation is the key to success. The devotion towards planning and preparation is directly proportional to performance.

Dee Hock says “If you look to lead, invest at least 40% of your time managing yourself”. A responsible leader will have to spend time to master the 4C’s of 21st century – critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration to rise to power and empower others in this era. The 21st century is made for people who can provide effective solutions to problems by blending critical thinking with creativity; communicate it to their team and execute the desired operations by collaborating with team members. This is why leadership is crucial for 21st century.
We are enriching our students with leadership qualities to conquer the 21st century in our endeavors to become among the top schools in Faridabad.
