  • Appreciation Day

    Grand Columbus International School, Faridabad held its Annual Appreciation Day on 2nd April, 2016. Students who excelled at academics and diverse fields of co-curricular activities were appreciated which was succeeded by the award distribution ceremony in various categories; Excellence at Academics, A-1 Grade Holders, Full Attendance, Best Answer sheet Presentation and a lot more. Scintillating performances by the students of the school kept the zeal and fervor high. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks.

    Appreciation Day 2017 At GCIS, Faridabad

    Appreciation Day, celebrated on 1st April, 2017 marked the momentous event for the family of Grand Columbus International School, Faridabad. The day drew felicitations to the soul capabilities for their commendable performances in academics and co-curricular grounds.

    The day commenced with euphonious Gayatri Mantra followed by divine sanctity- a prayer to Goddess Saraswati. The Chief Guest Honorable Managing Director of the school, Mr. Suresh Chander illuminated the lamp endowing the aura of tranquility. The eminence presence of the parents witnessed the cherishing award ceremony with thunderous claps.

    The Managing Director of the school congratulated the parents and the teachers whose collaborated endeavors encouraged the students to perform their best. He appreciated the Columbian faculty engaged in unbridled capacity to shower their love and dedication to their students. Also the students paid gratitude to their parents and teachers from the core of their hearts. The programme culminated with vote of thanks followed by high tea.

    Inter- School Debate Competition – Angoori Devi Memorial Trophy

    Grand Columbus International School Section-16-A, Faridabad launched Angoori Devi Memorial Award on December 11, 2015 in loving memory of Late Mrs. Angoori Devi, respected mother of Mr. Suresh Chander, the Managing Director of the school. An Interschool Debate was organized to make the occasion. The topic of the debate was “Increase in the use of digital technology has made students more informative and less knowledgeable”.

    18 well-known schools of Faridabad participated in the debate. The variety of points, content, rhythm, accent and intonation of the speakers left the audience spellbound. Eminent guests and personalities appreciated the presentation and standard of the debate. The grand ceremony was concluded with the blessings of Principals’ of majority schools of Faridabad.

    Christmas Celebration

    Grand Columbus International School merrily celebrated Christmas at school on 24th December 2015. The celebrations began invoking almighty’s merciful blessings through a prayer song. A drama depicting the teachings of Jesus was put up stupendously by budding Columbians enthralling all the spectators conveying a message of love, peace and humility. “Oh come all ye faithful”, “It’s the most beautiful time” etc. filled the air with festivity and enthusiasm as these were sung as part of inter-house carol singing competition. Tiny-tots gave a merillicious performance with a grand entry of Santa Claus delighting all the Columbians.

    Republic Day Celebration

    Grand Columbus International School celebrated the 67th Republic Day with full zeal and zest presenting the true spirit of the independent India. Before the commencement of the programme there was an inter-house rangoli competition which was a colorful beginning in which Milton and Bernard Shaw house shared the first position. A spell-bound debate session on different rights of every individual’s needs in the constitution was an eye-opener. Motivational song put up by the choir touched the heart of every Columbian. The Managing Director addressed the gathering by showering his blessings. The programme was concluded with National Anthem.

    Farewell Of Class Xii

    GCIS bid farewell to its outgoing batch of Class-XII on 30.01.2016. A grand celebration was planned to mark the occasion and to bless the students for their coming future.

    The function started with a pious ceremony of Hawan. The presence of many distinguished guests added glory to the program. Titles were given to Class-XII students by Class-XI students. The staff members of GCIS enacted a meaningful play along with a melodious song. Rishabh Sood and Yukti were declared Mr. and Ms. GCIS. The program ended with sumptuous lunch.

    Graduation day

    Graduation day was celebrated on 26th March 2016. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Managing Director Mr. Suresh Chander. The ceremony began with the melodious hymn invoking God’s blessings followed by the graduation ceremony and a beautiful dance performance. Students were also awarded for their overall performance in different areas of academics. The ceremony ended on a glorious note with National Anthem.

    Orientation Programme

    Grand Columbus International School, Faridabad organized Orientation Programme on 27th March, 2016. The session commenced with lamp lighting by School’s Managing Director Mr. Suresh Chander. The coordinator extended a heartfelt welcome on behalf of entire GCIS team. The headmistress vocalized the school’s vision besides making the gathering aware of the contemporary education scenario. School’s Director, in his address traced the journey of the school and took the responsibility of providing ‘Quality Education’ on behalf of the entire school. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks.


    Grand Columbus International School is in flashlight again in the sports activity. Akash Singh of Class-IX-A grabbed the gold medal in District Level open Taekwondo tournament held on March 27, 2016 at Bhagola, District Palwal. Akash Singh has brought laurels to the school under age 14 and 55-60 category. The whole school is overwhelmed with joy and proud on this achievement. Mr. Suresh Chander, the Managing Director of the School congratulated and blessed him and his family through his motivating words.

    District level chess championship was held in the month of May 2016. Yashovardhan of Class-VIII won Gold Medal. Aditya and Pragya Jain of Class-III won bronze medal.

    Inter school chess championship was held on 02-03 May 2015. Yashovardhan & Aditya Vardhan won Gold Medal and Arjit Prasad received Silver Medal.

    Blood Donation Camp

    Grand Columbus International School in association with Rotary Club organized a blood donation camp in the school premises on 10th October, 2015. The school director Mr. Suresh Chander presented the saplings and bouquets to the invited guests which marked a warm beginning. Students who are the members of Rotary Interact Club were the volunteers of the camp. Managing Director and Principal Ma’am profusely thanked all the donors asking them to continue doing the noble cause.

    Grand Parents’ Day Celebration

    Grand Columbus International School celebrated Grand Parents Day with great pomp and show on 11th Sept 2016. The celebration began with welcoming the Chief Guest and grandparents followed by lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana. Students from Pre-primary and Primary performed an energetic medley on classic Hindi songs. The Managing Director Mr. Suresh Chander felicitated the guests and addressed the audience with his words of wisdom that without the blessings of elders no one can achieve success in life. The grandparents are the footsteps to be followed from generation to generation. We must all love and respect our elders.

    Teacher's Day Celebration

    “A good teacher is like a candle….
    It consumes itself to light the way of others.”

    Grand Columbus International School celebrated Teacher’s Day on 2nd September, 2016 with great enthusiasm. All the tiny-tots dressed-up as their mother teacher looked wonderful. They even acted as their teachers. Beautiful cards were presented to the teachers.

    They were also told about the importance of the role of a teacher in the child’s life. Knowledge was imparted to them, about the life of S. Radhakrishanan. The whole day was covered with lots of discussions, colouring and visual clipping shown to them.

    Adventure Camp at Grand Columbus International School

    Grand Columbus International School Faridabad organized a day adventure camp for the students of classes KG to 8th on 31st October 2015. It was a fun filled day with the purpose of boosting confidence and independence in students. A plethora of activities were conducted with a view to instill the feeling of healthy competition and sportsmanship.

    Each student was encouraged to take each activity as a challenge and students participated with full zest and zeal. Scrumptious meals were also served during the camp. School’s Principal motivated the students and said that the school will look forward to other such activities for the comprehensive development and instilling the team spirit in students.

    Cutural Exchange Programme and Diwali Celebration

    India is a land of color, culture, festivals and cuisines with each stage offering visitors a different insight into India’s past and present. Grand Columbus International School celebrated Diwali, the festival of lights on 6th November. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Tony Trosco and Mr. Punit Loyal, foreign delegates from London, UK. To give a divine beginning Gayatri Mantra and the prayer song was sung. Giving a floral welcome followed by a melodious song marked a warm welcome. Diwali, a four day long festival is celebrated canvassing the rituals of our country. A talk show by students was conducted highlighting the culture, topography, educational systems etc. A stupendous dance performance on Diwali was given by the little Columbians. Mr. Prem Khullar, a member of Able India Charity addressed the gathering expressing his blissfulness on visiting India. Managing Director of the school, Mr. Suresh Chander presented the memento to all the foreign delegates. Cultural Exchange Programme and Diwali celebrations turned out to be a great joy and success.

    Founder's Day

    Grand Columbus International School celebrated its Founder’s Day on 17th November with full zest and zeal. School’s Director, Mr. Suresh Chander and the first lady Ms. Usha Sorayan were given a hearty welcome by the school’s Principal.

    Programme commenced with a prayer, an auspicious and divine beginning. A series of mesmerizing and scintillating cultural programs followed thereafter. The stupendous performance by the primary students kept all eyes glued to them. School’s Principal highlighted the beautiful aspects of Director’s dynamic persona. Each class presented their love and affection with a bouquet and a greeting card. Honorable Director, Mr. Suresh Chander expressed his gratitude to the entire school and stated his agenda taking the motto of ‘Leading Young Minds To Excellence’ further.

    Anti-Polythene Campaign

    Grand Columbus International School has started Anti-polythene campaign under the guidance of honorable Managing Director to stop environmental degradation and to save mother earth.

    Clean City – Green City

    Swachch Bharat mission on 2nd October 2014 – students and staff members of Grand Columbus International School started cleanliness drive by cleaning their school and surrounding areas. This activity was done to spread the message of Honorable Prime Minister’s ‘Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan’.

    Earth Day

    Grand Columbus International School celebrated Earth Day with a deep sense of determination to save Mother Earth. The celebration commenced on 22nd April, 2016 with a special assembly of the school. The emphasis during the Earth Day was laid on the importance of conservation of resources. Knowledge was imparted to the students about the misuse of resources and how the present generation is callous and ignorant about the repercussion of their careless attitude towards nature. The young Columbians planted sampling along with the Managing Director of the school Mr. Suresh Chander as a part of the plantation drive. Each section of the Kindergarten adopted a tree which they dearly hugged and pledged to take care of. Various activities like picking up litter from the ground, discouraging the use of polythene bags, save trees, colouring and hand printing in a wishful tree were organized within the school campus. Rallies for protecting of environment were taken out to conserve the nature. The whole campus seemed to be a wide band of free colour.

    Red Day

    “Colours add charm to life”. Red Day was celebrated in the Montessori wing of Grand Columbus International School. The students came dressed-up in bright beautiful red attires. The whole atmosphere looked vibrant with bright display of red objects all around. The students do multiple activities to enhance the registration and retention of Red colour. The teacher’s told the children about the significance of Red colour in our lives. The whole Montessori wing of the school gave a feeling of freshness. Each one enjoyed the celebration of the Red day.

    Investiture Ceremony

    The school investiture ceremony was a proud moment for one and all at Grand Columbus International School, as the new Student Council was sworn on 12th August 2016. The purpose of this event is to recognize the importance of school leadership team. The Chief Guest of the function was Mr. Sanjay Nagar, a senior BJP leader. Mr. S.S Gosain, Mr. Suresh Chander Director of the school , parents, teachers and students witnessed the formal ceremony where the invested leaders received their credentials from the School Correspondent. After the oath taking ceremony , badges were given to new student leaders. The new Student Council promised to carry their duties diligently, in the most proactive manner. Students were nominated on the basis of discipline, academics, sports and behavior. The head boy and head girl shared their thoughts on taking this esteemed responsibility and the office bearers were encouraged by the motivated speech of our respected Managing Director. The program witnessed a number of cultural activities which included a group song, dance performances and a dance drama based on Kargil victory. The ceremony was concluded with national anthem.

    Independence Day Celebrations

    To commemorate the 70th Independence day Grand Columbus International School, Faridabad was wholly harmonized with the tri-color celebrating freedom with great enthusiasm and respect. To honor the sovereignty of our nation, Mr. Suresh Chander , Managing Director of the school unfurled the tricolor followed by national anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom with his golden words that Independence day is a day of joy, day to love, and respect our country.

    Kidz Mania

    Grand Columbus International School organized ‘Kidzmania’ on a grand scale on 17.09.2016 i.e. Saturday which was inaugurated by Hon’ble Managing Director Mr. Suresh Chander. The event was highlighted by the active participation of the children with their parents. Multiple activities like magic show, bowling alley, puppet show, bouncy, hit the target, tattoo making, balloon bursting filled the whole environment with fun and frolic. The huge cartoon characters like ‘Doraemon’ and ‘Chota Bheem’ moving within the school campus were the main centre of attraction. The whole environment was full of zeal and fervour. The staff of GCIS coordinated well under the able guidance of Headmistress Ms. Anju Bhandari and Coordinator Ms. Priyancka Sood. The event culminated with the laurels, gifts and appreciation certificates awarded to all the children.

    Visit to Supermarket

    The kindergarten wing of Grand Columbus International School, Faridabad enjoyed the shopping spree in Sector- 12 SRS Value Bazaar. The Columbians were enthusiastic and gained a lot of knowledge about how to shop in the supermarket. The kids did purchasing in the supermarket and were taught to collect the bills after paying the money. It was a knowledgeable and cheerful visit.

    Dussehra Festival

    Grand Columbus International School celebrated the holy Navratras and Dussehra festivals with full vigour on 7th October 2016. A cultural function was organised for the students in the school premises. The students heartily enjoyed the skit and various dance performances. At the end a huge Ravana effigy was aflamed by a student dressed as Lord Ram to spread the message that ‘the Good will always prevail over the evil”. All the students shouted ”Jai Shri Ram” in chorus.

    Swacch Bharat Day

    On 29th September, 2016 we conducted the following activities as per the circular No.Acad-39/2016. Workshop, debates and rallies were organised to inculcate the spirit of hygiene, cleanliness in the children. These activities will make every child realise the importance of good, clean, and hygienic living. The students, teachers and the School Management Committee participated in these activities to encourage the students to participate in such programmes.

    Green Day Celebrations - Nature Walk

    The enthusiastic Columbians celebrated ‘Green Day’ on 14.10.2016 in the school campus. The cheerful day started with a nature walk in the school sports ground. Dressed-up in green attires the tiny toddlers took the initiative to create awareness about keeping the environment Green with the slogan ‘Go Green’. The young Columbians shared their views & enthusiastically participated with a lot of confidence in the whole day’s activities. It was an appreciable initiative taken by the young Columbians to show their love and care for conserving nature. The day ended cheerfully.

    100 Days of Kindergarten

    The enthusiastic toddlers of Grand Columbus International School celebrated 100 days of Kindergarten on 20.10.2016. They enjoyed several collective activities like bubble wrap printing, tearing and pasting, finger printing, paper crushing, leaves pasting, cotton dabbing throughout the day. Geared-up with full energy they all participated in each and every activity whole-heartedly. Further, the teachers imparted the significance of celebrating 100 days to the students. The day ended with lot of happiness and joy.

    Diwali Special Assembly

    Grand Columbus International School organised a special assembly on Diwali with devotion, enthusiasm and excitement on 27.10.2016. The school was beautifully decorated with lights, candles and ‘diyas’. The programme started with a ‘shlok’ telling the importance of light and happiness in one’s life. The choir group of the school presented a melodious song on the festival. It brought out the essence of goodness. A poem was presented by a student of K.G. Kintan Aitwal. A student of class-II Navika Chooni presented a short story on the life of Lord Rama. The students of class-VI presented a captivating ‘Nukkad Natak’. The audience were enthralled with their performance and learnt a message that we must respect our country and must promote ‘Make in India’ rather than the Chinese products. A group dance was performed to end this mesmerizing assembly.

    Founder's Day Celebrations

    The faith in God, utmost hard work, the true generous time and utilising all resources, the Managing Director Grand Columbus International School continue the story of success through the years. To pay gratitude, the staff and students of GCIS celebrated birthday of their benefactor, the founder of GCIS Mr. Suresh Chander on Tuesday, 15 November 2016.

    A warm welcome was given to the dignitaries with showering of flowers and instrumental presentation by Nursery-KG students. State President HPSC, Mr. S.S Gosain, members of Rotary Club and Principals from other schools were the main guests. The fragrance of purity spread all through the campus during ‘Hawan’ ceremony. An extravaganza of activities was conducted by the students of class Nursery to XII. They showed their love and respect presenting handmade gifts to the Director.

    Afterwards ‘Bhandara’ was served to each and everyone. The Managing Director expressed happiness to see old tradition being maintained in tandem with modernisation at the school. He blessed the students and promised to fulfil their dreams by mountaineering GCIS to the world’s top schools.


    Taekwondo is one of the most systematic and Scientific Korean traditional martial art, the teachers more than physical Fighting skills Inter school Taekwondo championship was held on 19.11.16 in G.B.N school Faridabad, Grand Columbus International School has participated and won 10 Gold medal and 11 Silver Medal This is a matter of pride for the entire fraternity of Grand Columbus International School.

    Annual Sports meet 2016-17

    Opening ceremony of sports day was celebrated on 28 December 2016, in Grand Columbus International School in a frolicsome atmosphere. The event was marked by a string of spectacular cultural performances by the Columbians, who were brimming with enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The grand opening ceremony was graced by Suresh Chander, the Managing Director of the school by hoisting the flag. The march past by the four houses that followed exhibited discipline and hardcore practice of the students. The Sports Captain administered the solemn oath to the house captains and the participants. The chief guest officially declared the sports meet open, and released balloons with souvenirs symbolizing the vibrant hopes of the sporting spirit of the students that were flying high. The sports torch was carried by Sports Captain followed by the house captains. Long awaited event of different races like find the number, cone hurdle, book balancing go to school beach ball, kangaroo bullock cart and spoon lemon were presented by the students of class pre nursery to twelfth that kept the spectators spellbound. The prizes were given away by the chief guest Mr. Vinay Bhatia. The event came to an end successfully with the vote of thanks, leaving thrilling memories in the hearts of each and every one present there.

    Amgoori Devi Inter-School Debate Compitetion at GCIS

    Grand Columbus International School, Faridabad organized Angoori Devi Inter-school Debate Competition at its premises on Monday, 26th December, 2016.

    The commemoration began with a melodious welcome song sung by Columbians. The Chief guest Director FSCI Rajiv Chawla illuminated the lamp that endowed the aura of tranquility in the surroundings. The audience at the forum included 25 schools from Faridabad and NCR. The panel of judges included Dr. (Maj.) Rupender Kaur, Ms. Anisha Sehpathi, Ms. Neeta Aneja And Mr. Tarun Gupta to witness the debate.

    The current hot Topic ‘Demonitization’ was picked up and debated about vigorously by the participants skillfully. The interjectors raised few brows by asking intelligent and interesting questions related to the present scenario. The vehement arguments of the students of Colonel’s Central Academy, Gurugram helped them win first prize. In the same category Faridabad Model School and Grand Columbus International School bagged the second and third prize respectively. In the individual category, Arshita of Faridabad Model School who spoke in favor of the motion and Swapnil Mishra of Colonel’s Central Academy, Gurugram who spoke against the motion received best speaker awards.
    The Chief Guest gave away the prizes and praised the commendable performance of the students. He also appreciated the efforts and arrangements of the school.

    The Director GCIS Suresh Chandra thanked all the guests and blessed all the students for their meritorious performance.

    Closing Ceremony Sports Meet at GCIS

    Sports and athletics have been an integral part of Grand Columbus International School. Keeping up the tradition, this year too GCIS organized Annual Sports Meet with the same flamboyant spirit. On 30th December 2016, closing ceremony of the Annual Sports Meet was organized in school premises. Guest of Honor State President of HPSC and Principal of Divine Public School S.S Gosain, Alumni Hardik Sorayan and the other dignitaries were welcomed and were pinned badges. The Guest of Honor, in his address lauded and stated that Sports Day was perfect that he could gauge the pains and efforts taken by the teachers and students for such flawless presentation further he added to infuse the spirit of sportsmanship that in a long run your active and continued participation in sports and athletics would pay rich dividends in terms of fitness, well-being, and happiness. A spectacular, impressive and well synchronized cultural program followed by various events rendered the spectators, speechless and awestruck. The most intriguing aspect, embellishing the event, was the splendid field display of Pyramids involving mass student participation. This entailed the Prize Distribution Ceremony, where Guest of Honor gave away medals and trophies to the sports event winners . First Trophy bagged by Tolstoy House and Bernard Shaw House bagged the Runner –up Trophy. Managing Director of the school Suresh Chander consign that sport is the medium through which a child is initiated into another dimension altogether. Sports prepare a child to become a liberal individual who understands the nature of teamwork and apply the sporting spirit in all aspects of life. The event ended with a note of appreciation, encouragement and blessings and the Meet was declared closed.

    Lohri Celebrations

    Grand Columbus International School celebrated the festival of Lohri with religious fervor, great joy and enthusiasm. The celebration began with a special assembly wherein students and teachers were enlightened about the Lohri festival. The function started with a speech highlighting the importance of the festival which ushers in the cheerful spring season bidding adieu to the cold winters. The mood on the campus was upbeat and the students were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. On the occasion, special arrangements were made. A bonfire was lit and students presented a vibrant and colorful dance performance. The Managing Director of the school, Mr. Suresh Chander threw light on the importance of the festival which celebrates the season of harvest, thus creating awareness amongst the students.

    Swachh Survekshan 2017

    As a prelude to encouraging cities to improve urban sanitation, Ministry of Urban Development has conducted a ‘Swachh Survekshan-2017’ survey for the rating of 73 cities in January 2017. In a bid to scale up the coverage of the ranking exercise and encourage towns and cities to actively implement mission initiatives in a timely and innovative manner. Managing Director Suresh Chander of Grand Columbus International School took the initiative by conducting ‘Haryana Progressive Schools Conference’ on 11th January 2017 in the school auditorium. Nearly 80 Principals from various schools attended the conference. Renowned poet Mr. Dinesh Raghuvanshi held the stage by his remarkable poetry. Chief Guest I.A.S officer Sonal Goyal of M.C.F proposed to conduct the mission under Swachh Faridabad. The objective of the conference was to encourage large scale citizen participation and create awareness amongst all sections of society about the importance of working together towards making towns and cities a better place to live in. Additionally, she also intended to foster a spirit of healthy competition in town to improve the service delivery to citizens, towards creating cleaner city. In order for city to reap the maximum developmental benefits. Mr. Anil Mehta Executive Engineer also delineated the objectives of the concerted efforts which are being taken to strengthen the capacities of the city to understand the modalities and spirit of the campaign. In addition to giving town and city more time to prepare for the survey, there will be intensive interactions with ULBs to familiarize them with the survey methodology, process and output indicators, and also clarifying their expectations from the citizen participation that is a very crucial component. Conference was concluded by swearing to fulfill their efforts by this campaign.

    Olympiad Champions

    Grand Columbus International School, Faridabad gains recognition for outstanding achievements in Science and Mathematics Olympiad. Building the concepts of intelligence and confidence, the young brains brought laurels to the Columbian family by participating in Science and Mathematics Olympiad. More than fifty students participated in the competition. The results were declared on November 24, December 1 and January 31, 2017. The students showed their marvelous performance winning 9 gold medals and 9 silver medals in Science Olympiad. Some others graced the achievement winning 9 gold medals in Mathematics Olympiad. Managing Director of the school, Mr. Suresh Chander gave away the medals and certificates to the champions for their meticulous performance. He admired the teachers for their efforts and stimulated the students to persist their endurance.

    Kindergarten day celebrations

    Kindergarten Day was celebrated in the pre-primary wing of Grand Columbus International School on 20-04-17. Little Columbians participated in various track events organised for them. They learnt team spirit and value of discipline. All appeared like blooming flowers in the activity of ‘floral head bands’ made by them.

    Earth Day 2017

    Earth day celebration was oragnised by Grand Columbus International School on 21st April, 2017. Sapling plantation was done by the Managing Director of the School Mr. Suresh Chander. The students along with the Headmistress and the teachers participated in the Earth Day rally on conservation of environment. They depicted the importance of mother earth in form of various banner and placards.

    Water Pool Activity

    Splash pool activity was organized for the toddlers by the Pre-Primary wing of Grand Columbus International School. Little Columbians full of zeal and fervour looked beautiful in their colourful swimming costumes and had a wonderful time.

    Science Experiment

    To enhance the learning and better retention of letter the enthusiastic toddlers of GCIS conducted simple science experiment with letter ”A” on air where in they practically did experiment by dipping handkerchief in a bowl of water and saw it drying with the help of air.

    Mother's Day Celebration 2017

    The string of tradition to honour the mothers led by Anna Jarvis continued to hold by Faridabad Columbians celebrating Mother’s Day in the school precinct.

    The programme commenced with honouring the mothers with Tilak and Floral Welcome. The stage-on-celebration started with enchanting of Gayatri Mantra. Students presented a lovely show dedicated to their mothers encompassing group song, dance, dance-drama and jingles for the mothers. The heart warming gestures of the children gave immense joy to the mothers. Mothers were overwhelmed to see the performance of their little kids.

    The Director of the school Sh. Suresh Chander expressed gratitude to all the mothers and asked the students to respect their mothers by understanding them from their soul and heart. The programme culminated with a melodious heart touching song sung by XII class student Yogandha followed by high-tea.
