Grand Columbus International School has always endeavored to instill secular, moral and cultural values in students. Discipline and safety of the child are the matter of greatest importance which are consistently followed. All the festivals are celebrated in the premises with great fervency and excitement. In an effort to make the students realize the importance of the occasion. On 27th September 2017 Dusshera and Gandhi Jayanti were celebrated with great enthusiasm and energy. A special assembly was conducted, in which students spoke on the significance of the festival and non-violence. A spectacular performance was presented by Advik Yadav a toddler wearing colorful attire of Hanuman, who recited The Hanuman Chalisa. The Principal of the school Ms. Richa Puri, spoke to the students on the philosophical aspect of the festival. She urged the students to know the story of each festival and incorporate the teachings of the Ramayana and Mahatma Gandhi in their life. Further she appreciated and greeted all the students and teachers. The assembly was finally concluded with a song of “A Pujari of Satya Ahimsa” by the choir.
